refund policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026. Plain-English summary of how refunds work at liminals.space. Not legal advice.
An unlock is a one-time purchase of a digital creation that is delivered to your browser immediately. Because delivery is instant and we store nothing, unlocks are generally non-refundable once delivered. If something genuinely went wrong, we'll make it right (see below). That's why we show you exactly how it works on the homepage examples before you ever pay: drag the before/after slider on real example rooms, then pay $4.99 one-time to generate your own two rooms in full resolution.
Email keon.me@gmail.com within 14 days with the code shown on screen and your payment receipt, and we'll sort it. Please don't pay twice; contact us first.
By completing checkout for an unlock, you ask us to begin delivering the digital content immediately, and you acknowledge that, once delivered, any statutory "cooling-off" / right of withdrawal no longer applies, to the extent permitted by law.
Payments and refunds are handled by Polar, our Merchant of Record. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method; how quickly it appears depends on your bank or card provider.
Any question about a charge or a refund: keon.me@gmail.com.
"Backrooms" refers to a broad, community-created liminal-space aesthetic and is used descriptively. liminals.space is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to A24, any film, or any creator associated with "The Backrooms."
